The store about how we created this silicone coated webbing
Several years ago, we had a valued customer specializing in the baby uses product business. At that time, we were supplying them with uncoated webbing. However, they encountered some issues with their customers, as babies tended to chew on the webbing, posing safety concerns. We acknowledged that regular webbing is not safe for babies’ chewing habits. Consequently, they approached us to explore the possibility of providing them with baby-safe webbing.
On our website, you can see that we specialize in silicone products. Silicone is commonly used in various baby items such as bowls, spoons, and teethers. This prompted us to consider using silicone coating on webbing. However, at that time, no one in the market had successfully achieved it.
Although numerous vendors can apply TPU and PVC coating, none had mastered the art of silicone-coated webbing. The challenges were significant, including dealing with different material flowability, temperature sensitivity, and process machine equipment.
In 2022, after an arduous eight-year journey, we finally found the right silicone material and successfully adjusted our machines to accommodate the production process. Our MOQ for one single color and size is 3,000 meters, The reason why we set up this quantity is we can help make down of the cost, If too much small quantity the cost would be higher than regular, Which is not good to our customers.
How can i buy it but could not meet the MOQ ?
We wanna support our customers to use our this new silicone coated webbing to stand out of the market, So if could not meet the MOQ, We will still take the order, But there is an extra $130 cost.
Do you have any certificates or chemical test, ASTM files ?
We spent 8 years and just reaching this product out in October 202, So we have not prepared those files yet, We are working on this file, But any specific testing reports needs we are totally open for it.
